What is Group Therapy?
Group therapy involves a small number of individuals meeting regularly under the guidance of a trained therapist. At Faith Integrated Psychiatry, these groups are led by qualified and well-trained professionals, integrating evidence-based therapeutic techniques with Christian principles. This supportive setting allows participants to:
- Share experiences and build connections with others who understand their struggles.
- Gain new insights and perspectives.
- Develop coping skills and problem-solving strategies.
- Practice communication and interpersonal skills in a safe environment.
- Receive encouragement and support from peers.
These diversion classes are designed to help people improve their lives. A referral is only required for court-mandated candidates but an intake assessment is required for all candidates prior to starting these programs. Since all our programs are virtual and offered via Zoom, individuals can start at any time. Let's take a closer look at the specific programs we offer here at Faith Integrated Psychiatry.
